Fiddler Andy Woolf, 58,
died suddenly of a heart attack on February 4, 2005
while teaching at Northern Essex Community College
in Haverhill, Massachusetts. He is survived by his
wife Karen. A longtime member of the New England
old-time community, Andy recorded a CD, Pickpocket
Road, with
Don Pedi, and also published Doc Woolf’s
Tuneful Tonic, a tome of “folk music and
humor,” authored with wife Karen, Jim Bollman,
and Bob Abrams.
