Early
Saturday morning, May 17, 2003, Freyda Epstein,
musician, vocal coach, violin teacher, Alexander
teacher, former member of Trapezoid and Freyda and
Acoustic Attatude, died in a car accident when she
was struck head on by an oncoming car. Freyda was
driving on Route 29 south to Charlottesville, VA
to join an annual music retreat. It was around 2am
when circumstance placed her in the way of crazed
man fleeing from the scene of a crime. He was driving
on the wrong side of the road when he hit Freyda's
car.
