Gilbert Thomas, a member of the Cumberland
Rangers died Monday. April 28th, in Richmond Ky.
The Cumberland Rangers were: Asa Martin on Guitar,
Grady"Buzz" Brazil on Autoharp, Gilbert
Thomas on Mandolin, Jim Gaskin (mc at Renfro Valley)
on Fiddle. Gaskin is the only surviving member of
the band. They had a live radio show in Irvine Ky
in the 1970's.
