Daniel Robert Brown, 80,
of McLeansville, NC, died of cancer on February 27,
2005 in Greensboro, NC. Daniel Brown was a retired
tobacco farmer and former volunteer with the McLeansville
Fire Department. With his brother John, Mr. Brown
was co-host of “Brown’s Ole Opry” every
Friday and Saturday nights. He will be sadly missed
by the McLeansville community and a host of friends
and musicians whose lives he touched through the
Opry.
